Karachi is a best destination for domestic/international tourists according to me(pakistantravelerpk).Mazar-e-Quaid Also a Famous Place To visit in Karachi, Mazar-e-Quaid or the National Mausoleum refers to the tomb of the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. It is an iconic symbol of Karachi throughout the world. The mausoleum is one of the most popular tourist sites in Karachi.This marble structure was designed by the Indian architect Yahya Merchant and was completed in 1970. It is situated at the heart of the city. It is the last rest place of Muhammad Ali Jinnah (Founder Of pakistan). Near the tomb there is a park that has strong lights that show the tomb with lights in the night. Here with Quaid-e-Azam, Liaquat ali Khan and Fatima Jinnah are also buried.Mazar-e-Quaid has been the attraction for locals and tourists. Mazar-e-Quaid became in lime light on completion of 70 years of independence in 2017. A 3d illumination show was organized with the title of Tribute to Jinnah and was categorized by the organizers as a Gift to the Nation.
If you love all things sea, then Churna Island, which is only a two-hour drive away from central Karachi, is a must-visit. Here is where you can swim, snorkel and scuba dive around the island’s reef and gaze at a multitude of sea creatures, from fish to snakes and turtles that inhabit its warm waters. History buffs will go gaga upon visiting this ancient graveyard and UNESCO World Heritage Site that houses tombs of the ancestors of a local tribe. The origins of this necropolis are estimated to range between the 15th and 18th century.
