Kumrat Valley is lcocated about 45 minutes away from the town of Thal.It is one of the (beautiful to look at) valleys of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and a beautiful spot for pakistantravelerpk. Every summer season thousands of tourists from different areas of the country visit to Kumrat valley and enjoy the greenery and cool weather.

Kumrat is covered with green (areas of grassy land), snow covered mountains, the river Panjkora, foggy mounds and forests are attractions of the area, which serve as (homes/places where things live) for variety of flora and animal population. It is located in the Upper Dir Kohistan area at the back side of which Swat Kohistan area of Gabral is located.
The Kumrat Valley's (like nothing else in the world) selling suggestion/possible plan of action for the last few years are its (huge/very tall) Deodar forest trees located on level ground (next to) the Panjkora river.Although the valley is (compared to other things) less green as compared to the Neelam Valley on the whole, the (like nothing else in the world) storybook mood/quality formed by the Deodar forests has continued to attract tourists for (more than two, but not a lot of) years.
Deodar forest is fast using up/reducing in Dir Kohistan Valley and it continues unhindered as the locals claim they have no other source of heating and cooking in the harsh winter season. The people of Kohistan Valley had offered the government a few years back that they were ready stop cutting deodar trees if they were given a natural gas facility. However, the government did not pay any attention to their demand.
